Ingredients

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 lb refrigerated pizza dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined and form a cohesive filling.

Shape the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large circle (about 12 inches in diameter). Transfer the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Add the Filling: Place the spinach and artichoke filling in the center of the dough, leaving about 2 inches of space around the edges.

Create the Wreath: Cut slits around the edge of the dough (about 1 inch apart) from the edge of the filling to the outer edge of the dough. Fold each strip of dough over the filling, pinching ends to seal it. Continue until you've encircled the wreath, showcasing the filling in the center.

Egg Wash: Brush the top of the wreath with the beaten egg to give it a golden color when baked.

Bake the Wreath: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving. Enjoy warm as a festive appetizer.
