Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (8 count)

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons butter (for cooking)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Powdered sugar (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your griddle or a large skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter on it.

While the griddle is heating, open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Roll each cinnamon roll flat with a rolling pin; this will help them soak up more egg mixture.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Dip each flattened cinnamon roll in the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Let any excess drip off.

Place the dipped cinnamon rolls on the hot griddle and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. You may need to add additional butter as needed for cooking.

Once cooked, remove from the griddle and keep warm. Optionally, drizzle some of the included icing over the fried cinnamon roll French toasts.

Serve warm with buttery maple syrup and a sprinkle of powdered sugar if desired. Enjoy!
