Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (8 rolls)

4 large eggs

1/2 cup milk (whole or 2%)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon butter (for the pan)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for garnish

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Cinnamon Rolls: Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Cut each roll into quarters to create bite-sized pieces.

Make the Custard Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.

Combine: Gently fold the cinnamon roll pieces into the custard mixture, making sure each piece is coated well.

Prepare the Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.

Bake: Pour the cinnamon roll bites and custard mixture into the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the bites are puffed up and golden brown.

Cool Slightly: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes.

Serve: Drizzle with warm maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar. Add optional chopped nuts on top for extra crunch if desired.
