4 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 (10 oz) bag of mini marshmallows

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray and set aside.

    Melt the Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add in the mini marshmallows, stirring constantly until they are completely melted and smooth.

      Add Coconut and Vanilla: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

        Incorporate Rice Krispies: Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture, folding gently until all the cereal is well-coated.

          Spread in the Dish: Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish. Using a spatula or your hands (but wet them a bit to prevent sticking), press the mixture evenly into the dish.

            Optional Chocolate Drizzle: If you choose to use white chocolate, melt it in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. Drizzle over the pressed Rice Krispie mixture.

              Cool and Cut: Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30-45 minutes. Once set, use a sharp knife to cut them into squares or rectangles.
