Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

1 cup crushed chocolate chip cookies (preferably blue cookies if available)

1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies

1 cup blue food coloring

1/2 cup cookie dough pieces (optional)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and sea salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Add in the blue food coloring and mix until you achieve your desired shade of blue. Start with a few drops and add more as necessary.

Fold in the crushed chocolate chip cookies and crushed Oreo cookies gently, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. If you're using cookie dough pieces, fold those in as well.

Once combined, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-30 minutes.

When the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an airtight container.

For a fun touch, sprinkle additional crushed cookies on top before sealing the container.

Place the container in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until fully set.

Once frozen, scoop the Cookie Monster Ice Cream into bowls and enjoy!
