Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, roughly chopped

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter and powdered sugar. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to beat until smooth and creamy.

Add the chopped cranberries, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to the butter mixture. Mix until the cranberries are evenly distributed throughout the butter.

Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more powdered sugar if desired or more maple syrup for additional flavor.

Once thoroughly mixed, transfer the cranberry butter onto a piece of parchment paper. Shape it into a log by rolling the parchment around it and twisting the ends to secure.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. If you're in a hurry, you can also freeze it for about 30 minutes.

Once firm, slice the butter into rounds and serve on warm bread, pancakes, or muffins.
