Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey

3 cups stale bread, cubed (Italian or sourdough works well)

1 cup chicken or turkey broth

1 cup cranberries, dried

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup celery, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon thyme, dried

1 egg, beaten

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Sauté Vegetables: In a skillet over medium heat, heat a splash of olive oil. Add the chopped onion and celery, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.

Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, sautéed vegetables, crushed stale bread, dried cranberries, sage, rosemary, thyme, and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Mix Thoroughly: Using your hands or a spatula, mix all ingredients until well combined.

Form Balls: Scoop out the mixture and shape it into balls, about the size of golf balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Drizzle with Oil: Drizzle the tops of the stuffing balls with a little olive oil to help them crisp up in the oven.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the turkey is fully cooked and the tops are golden brown.

Serve: Let the stuffing balls cool slightly before serving. They can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
