Creamy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

Ingredients
  

12 lasagna noodles

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup Alfredo sauce

1 cup ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.

      Add in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

        Combine the heavy cream and Alfredo sauce in a bowl. Stir in the cooked chicken until well coated.

          In another bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with a pinch of salt and pepper.

            Assemble the lasagna in a 9x13 inch baking dish:

              - Layer 1: Spread a thin layer of the chicken Alfredo mixture on the bottom of the dish.

                - Layer 2: Place 3 lasagna noodles on top.

                  - Layer 3: Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.

                    - Layer 4: Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella on top.

                      - Layer 5: Repeat layers: chicken Alfredo - noodles - ricotta - mozzarella.

                        - Layer 6: For the final layer, add the last 3 noodles, cover with the remaining chicken Alfredo mixture, and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

                          Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.

                            Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing for easier servings.
