8 ounces of pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)

1 cup feta cheese, crumbled

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 lemon, zested and juiced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Additional lemon wedges for serving

Cook Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain and set aside.

    Prepare Feta Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

      Add Feta and Cream: Lower the heat, then add the crumbled feta cheese to the skillet along with the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir continuously until the feta begins to melt and create a creamy sauce.

        Mix-in Tomatoes: Add the halved cherry tomatoes and red pepper flakes to the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the tomatoes to soften slightly.
