Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers (jarred or fresh)

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooked pasta or rice (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits. Bring to a slight simmer.

Add Cream and Peppers: Stir in the heavy cream and add the sliced pepperoncini peppers. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce and peppers over the top. Simmer for another 3-4 minutes to heat the chicken through and let the flavors meld.

Serve: Plate the chicken and drizzle with the creamy sauce. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve with cooked pasta or rice if desired.
