Ingredients

4 cube steaks

1 onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup beef broth

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups fresh baby spinach (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Sear the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the cube steaks with salt and pepper, then sear them on both sides in the hot skillet until browned (about 3-4 minutes per side). Remove the steaks and set aside.

Prepare the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onions are translucent.

Combine Sauce Ingredients: In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder until well combined.

Layer in the Crock Pot: Place the sautéed onions and garlic at the bottom of the crock pot, followed by the seared cube steaks. Pour the sauce mixture over the top, ensuring the steaks are well covered.

Cook: Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the steaks are tender and the sauce is bubbling.

Add Spinach (Optional): About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the fresh baby spinach, allowing it to wilt in the sauce.

Serve: Once cooked, serve the cube steaks with the thickened sauce over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for added color and flavor.
