Ingredients

1 (25 oz) package refrigerated cheese ravioli

1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce (or homemade pasta sauce)

1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the marinara sauce with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well to incorporate the spices into the sauce.

Layer the Ingredients: In your crockpot, start by adding a thin layer of the marinara sauce to the bottom. Then, add a layer of frozen ravioli on top of the sauce. Spoon dollops of ricotta cheese on the ravioli, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Repeat Layers: Continue layering in the same order: marinara sauce, ravioli, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan until all ingredients are used up. Aim for at least three layers, finishing with a generous layer of mozzarella on top.

Cook: Cover the crockpot and set it to low heat. Cook for 4 to 6 hours, or until the ravioli are tender and the cheeses are melted and bubbly.

Serve: Once done, let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving to set. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving for an added touch of freshness.
