Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast

1 cup warm milk (110°F/43°C)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 egg (for egg wash)

Raisins or chocolate chips (for eyes)

Colored sprinkles (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar, then sprinkle the yeast on top. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and ground cinnamon.

Once the yeast mixture is frothy, add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Gradually add the flour mixture into the liquid mixture, stirring until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a round bun.

For the bunny shape, take each bun and pinch the top to form ears. Press gently to secure ears.

Place the buns on a lined baking sheet. Use raisins or chocolate chips to create eyes.

Beat the remaining egg to make an egg wash, and brush it over the buns for a shiny finish. Optionally, sprinkle colored sprinkles for decoration.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
