1 cup water

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

4 large eggs

For the Cream Filling:

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Drizzle (optional):

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter

Instructions
 

Make the Pastry:

    - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

      - In a medium saucepan, combine the water, butter, salt, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

        - Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in the flour all at once. Mix until a smooth ball forms.

          - Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully incorporated.

            Shape the Cream Puffs:

              - Using a piping bag or a spoon, drop mounds of the pastry dough onto the lined baking tray, spacing them about 2 inches apart (they will puff up).

                - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffed. Do not open the oven door during baking!

                  Prepare the Cream Filling:

                    - While the puffs are baking, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.

                      - Whip until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overbeat.

                        Fill the Cream Puffs:

                          - Once the cream puffs are completely cooled, slice them in half or use a piping bag to fill them with whipped cream.

                            Optional Chocolate Drizzle:

                              - If you want a chocolate drizzle, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil (or butter) together in a microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
