Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 packet taco seasoning (1 oz)

1 cup salsa

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Mexican blend, or your choice)

1 cup lettuce, shredded

1 medium tomato, diced

1/2 cup black olives, sliced (optional)

1/4 cup sour cream (for drizzling)

1/4 cup sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the crescent roll dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it on a large baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a big rectangle or pizza shape. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Cook the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat.

Add taco seasoning: Stir the taco seasoning into the meat, adding a splash of water if needed. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the seasoning is well-blended and fragrant.

Assemble the pizza: Spread half a cup of salsa evenly over the baked crescent roll crust. Top with the seasoned meat mixture, spreading it out evenly across the pizza.

Add the cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the meat layer, distributing it evenly.

Return to the oven: Place the assembled taco pizza back in the oven for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add fresh toppings: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Then, sprinkle shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced olives over the pizza.

Garnish: Drizzle with sour cream and sprinkle with sliced green onions for added flavor.

Slice and serve: Cut into slices or squares and enjoy your Easy Crescent Roll Taco Pizza while it’s warm!
