Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 packet (10.5 oz) of cream of chicken soup

1 packet (0.87 oz) of ranch seasoning mix

1 cup (240 ml) of low-sodium chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 cup (240 ml) of sliced mushrooms (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cooked rice or mashed potatoes (for serving)

Instructions

Start by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until well mixed.

Pour the soup mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well covered. If using, scatter the sliced mushrooms on top.

Cover the crockpot with its lid and set it on low heat. Let it cook for 6-7 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks, stirring it into the gravy.

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. If the gravy is too thick, add a little more chicken broth to reach desired consistency.

Serve over cooked rice or mashed potatoes, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
