Ingredients

1 box (14 oz) graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

3 ripe bananas, sliced

1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapples, drained

1 cup strawberries, chopped

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1/4 cup chocolate syrup

1/4 cup caramel sauce

Extra whipped topping for garnish

Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: In a large bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even crust layer.

Cream Cheese Layer: In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until just combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the crust in the baking dish.

Layer the Fruits: Arrange the sliced bananas on top of the cream cheese layer, followed by the crushed pineapples. Ensure the fruits are evenly distributed.

Add Strawberries and Nuts: Sprinkle the chopped strawberries over the pineapple layer, then add the chopped walnuts or pecans if using.

Drizzle the Sauces: Drizzle chocolate syrup and caramel sauce over the fruit layer, allowing it to seep into the toppings.

Final Topping Layer: Spread the remaining whipped topping across the entire surface of the cake. Smooth it out with a spatula.

Chill: Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the crust to set.

Serve: Before serving, garnish with additional whipped topping, maraschino cherries, and a drizzle of chocolate and caramel sauce if desired.
