Ingredients

4 cups of dry bread cubes

1 cup celery, diced

1 cup onion, diced

1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted

1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

1 teaspoon dried sage

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Salt and pepper to taste

1 large egg, beaten

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or oil.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry bread cubes, diced celery, and diced onion.

In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, chicken or vegetable broth, dried sage, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper, and the beaten egg. Stir until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until the bread cubes are evenly coated and moistened. If using, fold in the chopped parsley.

With your hands, form the stuffing mixture into balls, approximately 2 inches in diameter. Place the formed balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the stuffing balls are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Easy Stuffing Balls as a delightful side or appetizer!
