Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

whole wheat burger buns

Toppings: Sliced tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, or your favorite condiments

. Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties, ensuring they are somewhat thicker in the middle to avoid the burgers puffing up during cooking.

3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the burgers are golden brown.

4. Optionally, place a slice of extra white cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

. Toast the whole wheat burger buns in the skillet or on a grill for a couple of minutes until golden.

6. Assemble your burgers by placing a patty on each bun and adding your desired toppings such as sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado.

7. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Easy White Cheddar Spinach Chicken Burgers!
