Ingredients

1 lb white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups cooked brown rice or quinoa

1 cup shredded cabbage (red or green)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 avocado, diced

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Lime wedges for serving

For the Spicy Lime Mayo:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust for spice preference)

Zest of 1 lime

A pinch of salt

Instructions

Prepare the Fish: In a bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat well with the mixture. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Make the Spicy Lime Mayo: In another bowl, mix together mayonnaise, lime juice, sriracha, lime zest, and salt until fully combined. Adjust the spice level by adding more sriracha if desired. Set aside.

Cook the Fish: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated fish and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through. Remove from heat and break the fish into bite-sized pieces.

Assemble the Bowl: In serving bowls, divide the cooked brown rice or quinoa as the base. Top with shredded cabbage, halved cherry tomatoes, diced avocado, and flaky fish.

Drizzle and Garnish: Spoon the spicy lime mayo generously over the top. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.

Enjoy your delicious Fish Taco Bowl with Spicy Lime Mayo!
