Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1 package (16 oz) potato gnocchi

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, combine the steak cubes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat the steak evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the gnocchi.

Cook the Gnocchi: In a large pot of boiling salted water, add the gnocchi. Cook according to package instructions, usually 2-3 minutes or until they rise to the surface. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a plate and set aside.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the marinated steak bites to the skillet. Sear for about 2-3 minutes per side or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Garlic and Combine: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

Toss Everything Together: Add the cooked gnocchi back into the skillet along with the steak bites. Gently toss everything together to combine and coat with the garlic butter. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until everything is heated through.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful dish!
