Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh peaches peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 4 cups water for brewing tea
  • 4 tea bags black tea or your preferred tea variety
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice for brightness
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional for extra flavor
  • 1 cup ice cubes for serving
  • 1 sprig fresh mint for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the 4 tea bags. Steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  • While the tea is steeping, prepare the peaches. In a blender, combine the sliced peaches with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  • After the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and stir in the peach puree. Mix well to combine the flavors. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  • Once cooled, refrigerate the peach iced tea for at least 15 minutes to chill thoroughly. Serve over ice cubes in tall glasses.
  • Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and enjoy your refreshing Fresh Peach Iced Tea!

Notes

Tip 1: For a stronger peach flavor, you can add more peach puree to the iced tea.
Tip 2: This iced tea can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
