Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

1 cup crushed graham crackers

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened

1 cup sliced strawberries

1 cup crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup chocolate fudge sauce

1 cup whipped cream

Maraschino cherries for garnishing

Chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans) for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, cocoa powder, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined and crumbly. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form a crust. Place it in the freezer for 15 minutes to set.

Layer the Ice Cream: In a large mixing bowl, add the softened vanilla ice cream. Once the crust is set, spread half of the ice cream evenly over the crust. Smooth the top with a spatula and return the pie to the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up.

Add Fruit Layers: After the ice cream layer is firm, layer the sliced bananas evenly over the ice cream, followed by the sliced strawberries and crushed pineapple. Drizzle some chocolate fudge sauce over the fruit layers.

Top with Ice Cream: Spoon the remaining vanilla ice cream on top of the fruit and fudge layers. Smooth out the top again, ensuring it's an even layer.

Freeze the Pie: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 3 hours, or until firm.

Serve: Once the pie is thoroughly frozen, remove it from the freezer. Let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Top each slice with whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate fudge sauce, a few chopped nuts, and a maraschino cherry.

Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Frozen Banana Split Pie!
