Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a teaspoon of olive oil to prevent sticking.

Make Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.

Add Flavor: Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

Prepare Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over each fillet.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
