Ingredients
  

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups broccoli florets

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Cooked rice or pasta, for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare the Broccoli: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.

    Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

      Add the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

        Combine Broccoli and Shrimp: Reduce the heat to low, add the cooked broccoli to the skillet. Pour in the lemon juice and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.

          Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot over rice or pasta.
