Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper. Ensure they are cut evenly for even cooking.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Sear the Steak: Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd them. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Combine: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic butter. Add the chopped rosemary and thyme, stirring gently until the herbs are fragrant and the steak is heated through (about 1-2 minutes).

Garnish and Serve: Transfer the garlic butter steak bites to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a bright finish if desired.
