Ingredients

2 cups seedless grapes, halved

1 cup mixed berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

1/4 cup sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Prep the Fruit: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved grapes and mixed berries. Add 1/4 cup of sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss gently until the fruits are well-coated and let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.

Make the Crumble Topping: In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Incorporate the cold, cubed butter using your fingers or a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make sure there are still some pea-sized pieces of butter for flakiness.

Assemble the Crumble: Pour the fruit mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish or baking dish. Evenly distribute the crumble topping over the fruit.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling around the edges.

Cool and Serve: Allow the crumble to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving. Enjoy it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra treat!
