Ingredients

1 pound chicken tenders

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). This will be your marinade.

Add the chicken tenders to the marinade, making sure they are well-coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the chicken and marinade to a resealable plastic bag. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking.

Remove the chicken tenders from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Place the chicken tenders on the grill.

Grill the tenders for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

Garnish the chicken with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
