Ingredients

10 chicken drumsticks

1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice, homemade or store-bought)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

2 teaspoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper until well-combined.

Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken drumsticks to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for more flavor.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 350°F - 400°F).

Grill the Chicken: Remove the drumsticks from the marinade and shake off any excess. Place them on the grill, and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning frequently to achieve nice grill marks and even cooking.

Apply BBQ Sauce: During the last 5-10 minutes of grilling, brush your favorite BBQ sauce onto the drumsticks, coating them generously. Continue to grill until the sauce caramelizes slightly and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Serve: Remove drumsticks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chives or parsley if desired, and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side. Enjoy your smoky sweet grilled BBQ chicken drumsticks!
