Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, packed

1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup coconut water or filtered water

A pinch of sea salt

Instructions

In a blender, combine the strawberries, basil leaves, honey (or agave), lemon juice, coconut water, and a pinch of sea salt.

Blend the mixture on high until smooth and fully combined. If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds.

Taste the sorbet mixture and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey/agave.

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or a loaf pan and spread it evenly.

Freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid. For best results, stir every hour for the first three hours to create a fluffier texture.

Once ready to serve, let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before scooping. Serve in chilled bowls, garnished with a sprig of fresh basil if desired.
