1 cup raw nuts (hazelnuts or almonds)

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup protein powder (chocolate or vanilla flavor)

1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

2-4 tbsp water (to adjust consistency)

Instructions
 

Roast the Nuts: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the nuts on a baking sheet and roast for 10-12 minutes, or until they’re fragrant and lightly browned. Allow them to cool slightly.

    Blend the Nuts: In a food processor, add the roasted nuts and blend for 1-2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed. Continue blending until the nuts turn into a smooth nut butter.

      Add Cocoa and Protein Powder: Once the nut butter is ready, add the unsweetened cocoa powder, protein powder, maple syrup (or honey), melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Blend until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined and the mixture is smooth.

        Adjust Consistency: Depending on how thick or smooth you like your spread, add water one tablespoon at a time, blending well after each addition until you reach your desired consistency.

          Taste and Adjust: Taste the spread and adjust sweetness or cocoa levels according to your preference. Blend again if you add any additional ingredients.
