Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup whole milk

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled to room temperature)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon instant coffee granules (optional, for extra coffee flavor)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Add the brewed coffee and vanilla extract to the cream mixture. If you desire a stronger coffee flavor, stir in the instant coffee granules. Mix well until fully incorporated.

Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors. Stir until combined.

Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually around 20-25 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container. Smooth the top with a spatula and cover securely with a lid.

Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours to harden further before serving.

Once fully frozen, scoop into bowls or cones, and enjoy your homemade coffee ice cream!
