3 large eggs

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

    Make the Honey Cake Batter:

      - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, honey, and granulated sugar until the mixture is creamy and well combined.

        - Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until smooth.

          - In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger.

            - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the whole milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Mix just until combined.

              Bake the Cakes:

                - Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Tap the pans gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.

                  - Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

                    Prepare the Sour Cream Frosting:
