4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lemon

Zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, salt, and paprika until well combined.

    Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to 4 hours for more flavor).

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

        Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, remove the chicken from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place the thighs skin-side down in the skillet. Sear for about 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.

          Add the Marinade: Flip the chicken thighs and pour the reserved marinade over the top.

            Bake the Chicken: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is cooked through.

              Broil for Extra Crispiness (Optional): If you like extra crispy skin, you can broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.

                Serve: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
