Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnishing)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor) in the refrigerator.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare Honey Mixture: In a small bowl, combine honey and half of the crumbled feta cheese. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Cook the Chicken: Remove the marinated chicken breasts from the fridge. In a cast-iron skillet or oven-safe pan, heat a little olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

Add Honey Feta Topping: Once the chicken is browned, drizzle the honey and feta mixture generously over each chicken breast. Use a spatula to spread it evenly over the top.

Bake the Chicken: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Serve: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Garnish with the remaining crumbled feta cheese and chopped fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
