Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/3 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they're well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil and place the marinated chicken breasts in a single layer.

Add Feta and Honey: Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the chicken breasts evenly. Drizzle hot honey generously on top of the feta.

Bake the Chicken: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Broil (Optional): For a golden crust, you can broil the dish for an additional 2-3 minutes, keeping a close watch to prevent burning.

Serve: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
