Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

1 ½ tsp salt

1 tbsp sugar

1 cup warm milk (110°F or 43°C)

4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (plus more for brushing)

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme

1 tbsp garlic powder

½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Combine Ingredients: Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and pour in the yeast mixture and melted butter. Stir until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

First Proof: Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare the Cheese Filling: In a separate bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan, parsley, and thyme.

Shape the Bread: After the dough has risen, punch it down. Divide it into small balls (about the size of a golf ball). Flatten each ball slightly and place a spoonful of cheese filling in the center, then pinch the dough around the cheese to seal.

Second Proof: Place the filled dough balls in a greased bundt pan or cake pan, arranging them in a circular pattern. Cover with a cloth and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake: Brush the top of the dough with melted butter. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the bread is cooked through.

Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring it to a serving platter. Serve warm and enjoy pulling apart the cheesy goodness!
