1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp pineapple juice

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat the Oven:

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

      Mix the Dry Ingredients:

        In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

          Cream the Butter and Sugar:

            In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).

              Add Eggs and Vanilla:

                Gradually add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

                  Incorporate Wet Ingredients:

                    Mix in the sour cream and crushed pineapple with juice until well combined.

                      Combine Dry and Wet Mixtures:

                        Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

                          Bake:
