Ingredients

1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter

1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 large eggs

2 large egg yolks

1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh berries (for garnish, optional)

Vanilla ice cream (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder, tapping out the excess.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Stir in the melted chocolate mixture, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Gently fold in the flour until just incorporated, being careful not to overmix.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place them on a baking tray for easy handling.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm and the center is slightly soft.

Remove from the oven and let sit for 1 minute. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a serving plate.

Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with fresh berries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
