  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1/4 cup water for steeping the lavender
  • 1 pinch sea salt to balance flavors
  • 1 fresh lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine the water and dried culinary lavender. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, then reduce to low and let it steep for about 10 minutes. Strain the mixture to remove the lavender flowers and set aside the lavender-infused water.
  • In a separate saucepan, heat the oat milk over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling. Stir in the honey or agave syrup, vanilla extract, and pinch of sea salt. Mix well until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
  • Brew the espresso or strong coffee while the oat milk is warming. Once brewed, pour the espresso into a large mug or glass.
  • Combine the lavender-infused water with the brewed espresso. Slowly pour the warm oat milk mixture over the espresso, allowing it to mix gently. You may froth the oat milk before pouring for added texture.
