Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Cheesecake Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, sour cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean, flat surface and separate it into triangles.

Fill the Rolls: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cheesecake filling at the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll up the dough starting from the wide end, making sure to tuck in the filling as you go.

Brush with Egg Wash: Place the rolled crescent rolls on the baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Cool and Dust: Once baked, let the rolls cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
