Ingredients

2 pounds of chicken wings

2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced

2 tablespoons honey

2-3 habanero peppers, finely chopped (adjust for spice preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, honey, chopped habanero peppers, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth to create a thick sauce. Adjust the sweetness or spice level to your liking by adding more honey or habanero peppers.

Marinate the Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large bowl or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the mango-habanero marinade over the wings, tossing to ensure they are evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (up to 4 hours for extra flavor).

Preheat the Oven or Grill: If baking, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

        Cook the Wings:

          - For the Oven: Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack over it. Arrange the marinated wings on the rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.

            - For the Grill: Remove the wings from the marinade and place them directly on the grill. Grill for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through.

Glaze with Remaining Sauce: If desired, reserve some of the remaining marinade (before raw chicken was added) and brush it onto the wings during the last 5 minutes of cooking for an extra flavor boost.

Serve: Remove the wings from the oven or grill and garnish with freshly chopped cilantro. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
