Ingredients

4 cups water

1 cup dried hibiscus flowers

1 large mango, peeled and diced

1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust for sweetness)

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Prepare Hibiscus Tea: In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the dried hibiscus flowers. Cover and let steep for about 15 minutes.

Strain the Tea: After steeping, strain the mixture into a pitcher using a fine mesh strainer. Discard the hibiscus flowers.

Sweeten the Tea: While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey or agave syrup and lime juice until fully dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.

Blend the Mango: In a blender, puree the diced mango until smooth. If desired, strain it through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother consistency.

Combine and Chill: In the pitcher with the hibiscus tea, add the pureed mango and stir well to combine. Refrigerate until chilled, about 1-2 hours.

Serve: To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the Mango Hibiscus Iced Tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
