Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/3 cup grated mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 small onion, finely diced

1 large egg

1/4 cup milk

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 cup marinara sauce (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.

Mix the Meatloaf Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley, minced garlic, diced onion, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are well incorporated, being careful not to overmix.

Shape the Mixture: Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan. Press it down gently and shape it into a loaf, ensuring it's even on top.

Add the Marinara Topping: Spoon the marinara sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf, spreading it gently to cover the surface.

Bake: Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the meatloaf is golden brown.

Rest Before Serving: Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes. This helps the juices redistribute for a more flavorful and moist meatloaf.

Slice and Serve: Carefully slice the meatloaf and serve with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes or a fresh salad. Enjoy the melt-in-your-mouth goodness!
