Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Juice of 1 lemon

Lemon wedges and fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create a savory garlic butter mixture.

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.

Pour half of the garlic butter mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated. Reserve the other half for later.

Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, take the chicken out and brush the remaining garlic butter mixture over the top.

Return the chicken to the oven and roast for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).

Once done, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving. This helps to keep it juicy and flavorful.

Serve the chicken breasts with the pan juices drizzled over the top, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh herbs.
