Ingredients

4 small corn tortillas

1 cup refried beans

1 cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1 ripe avocado, sliced

2 cups shredded lettuce

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

Olive oil for brushing

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare Tortillas: Brush both sides of the corn tortillas lightly with olive oil. This will help them crisp up nicely. Place them on a baking sheet.

Bake Tortillas: Bake the tortillas in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning. Remove them from the oven and set aside.

Prepare Toppings: In a small bowl, mix the cooked ground beef or shredded chicken with the taco seasoning for added flavor.

Assemble the Pizzas: Spread a layer of refried beans on each tortilla. Next, add a generous layer of the seasoned meat, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and sliced black olives.

Bake Pizzas: Return the assembled pizzas to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add Fresh Toppings: Once out of the oven, top each pizza with shredded lettuce, sliced avocado, and chopped green onions.

Serve with Sauce: Drizzle sour cream on top of each pizza and add hot sauce if desired. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

Slice and Enjoy: Slice the pizzas into quarters and serve immediately while hot. Enjoy your delicious twist on a classic!
