Ingredients

2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)

1/2 cup diced green onions

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon paprika (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Add Chicken and Cheese: Gently fold in the cooked, shredded chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced green onions into the mixture.

Prepare the Casserole Dish: Lightly grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Transfer the chicken mixture into the dish and spread it evenly.

Add Cracker Topping: In a separate bowl, mix the crushed buttery crackers with a drizzle of melted butter (optional for extra crunch). Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chicken mixture in the casserole dish.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the casserole is bubbling and the cracker topping is golden brown.

Garnish: Once removed from the oven, sprinkle with paprika for color (optional). Let it rest for about 5-10 minutes before serving so that it sets a little.

Serve: Spoon into bowls and enjoy this creamy, cheesy, and flavorful Million Dollar Chicken Casserole!
