Ingredients
  

1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or your favorite toppings: mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, etc.)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

      Prepare the Bread: Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture over each slice of French or Italian bread, ensuring the edges are well-coated.

        Toast the Bread: Place the buttered slices on the prepared baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are light golden brown.

          Add Marinara Sauce: Remove the toasted bread from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each slice, spreading it evenly.

            Top with Cheese and Toppings: Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on each slice, followed by your choice of toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.).

              Bake Again: Return the mini pizzas to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

                Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh basil if desired, then slice into serving pieces and enjoy.
