Ingredients

4 large fluffy milk bread buns (or any soft bread of your choice)

8 oz (1 cup) cream cheese, softened

4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Make the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, butter, minced garlic, sugar, salt, black pepper, parsley, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth and well blended.

Prepare the Bread: Take the milk bread buns and cut each one in a crosshatch pattern, making sure not to cut all the way through to the bottom, so they hold together.

Stuff the Bread: Use a spatula or knife to generously fill each cut with the cream cheese mixture. Make sure to get some filling deep into the cuts.

Top with Cheese: After stuffing the bread, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of each bun, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese if using.

Add Olive Oil: Drizzle the tops of the buns with olive oil for extra richness and flavor.

Bake: Place the stuffed buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Serve: Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm. Perfect as an appetizer or snack!
