1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups rolled oats

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or peanuts)

Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until fully blended.

    Add the rolled oats to the bowl and mix well until the oats are fully coated with the peanut butter mixture.

      Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and a pinch of salt until evenly distributed.

        Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

          Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, pressing it down firmly and evenly with the back of a spatula or your hands.

            Place the dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 to 2 hours, or until firm.

              Once set, lift the bars out of the dish using the parchment overhang and cut into squares or rectangles.
